7 September 2023 – Drawing from its knowledge and experience in the local market, Deliveroo remains committed to connecting its customers to a selection of incredible food in their neighbourhood, revealing the most sought-after dishes across Doha.

The online delivery platform has found that eating habits are quite different from one neighbourhood to another: the chicken wrap appears to be a favourite for the residents and locals of Al Hilal whereas Penne pasta was the ultimate pick for customers in the Umm Salal.

Deliveroo has also shown that foodies in Al Kharaitiyat and Al Sadd have a fondness for Kushari and Crispy Kunafa, respectively. As for the customers of Al Rayyan and Al Gharrafa areas, Margherita pizza and beef fried rice are their most ordered dishes, as revealed by Deliveroo. The online delivery platform has observed that vegetarian biryani is dominant in the Al Duhail area and crispy chicken strips are most popular in Ain Khaled.

Deliveroo’s findings have also shown that falafel and hummus are most preferred in Al Waab. Additionally, the grilled chicken with rice is a favourite in Al Maamoura Zone and beef burger in Lusail.

Lastly, rice & chicken curry and chocolate cake are the go-to meals for Al Mansoura and Old Airport Zone consumers and those who reside in The Pearl absolutely love Acai Bowls. As for Al Nuaimi Zone, chicken shawarma is the number one choice for its residents.

Seham AlHusaini, General Manager of Deliveroo Qatar and Kuwait said: “Deliveroo’s core business strategy thrives on the power of hyperlocal focus, creating a culinary landscape by bringing different flavours to customers’ doorsteps across neighbourhoods. Our Takeaway Map helps us visualise the tapestry of hyperlocal areas, illustrating how we can provide the best food options to customers one neighbourhood at a time."
